This accessibility statement applies to the engagement platform for the Carmarthenshire Towns project by Carmarthenshire County Council.

Disproportionate burden

Certain user controls on the interactive maps integrated into this engagement platform do not include text descriptions. We have assessed the potential to rectify this issue but the maps engine is provided by a third-party provider which does not include functionality to include text descriptions, and no other provider is able to provide a similar or equivalent service with this functionality available.

Content that's not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

Live video streams do not have captions. We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.
